I know that Liza is excited about the release of the last Harry Potter book, but I have to tell you it makes me kind of sad. As of July 21, 2007 I'll never have another Harry Potter book to look forward to.

Me, too.
And I'm afraid she's going to kill him off -- which, according to Donovan is the good part about Brit stories...they aren't afraid to kill off he hero and sometimes it is the only logical conclusion.

But I always find it a bit sad, even when it's mechanistically satisfying.

Yes, but won't it nice to have closure? Plus I do not really believe that Harry will be killed off. She might kill off the whole Weasley clan, Hermione, and Hagrid, but the book won't work if she kills Harry. It is a children's book after all.

Even though it IS a children's book I don't think Ron, Hermione, or Harry will die. Her publishers won't let her. Though if any of the three of them die I think it will be Harry. I think Hagrid and several other adults will go. Maybe the Weasley parents and a brother or too. I might have to know who dies before I can read it because I like lollipops and unicorns and rainbows and things like that.

It does not matter who dies...the important thing is who lives...and it can NOT be Voldemort
